Fanshawe Fire Inspection and Fire Safety Education students enhance their learning by using APX Building + Onsite Datas' SmartView and SmartCapture. With the city and plans laid out on the iPAD, the Pre-Plan sent via text to my Android Phone and reviewing the assignments' essay on my Windows Laptop - we can see the integration of technology with today's learning

In Fire Inspection II, students undertake a pre-plan of a building to evaluate the protection systems, building construction, contents, and operating procedures that can impact emergency operations. Going beyond the Fire Safety Plan, our students learn how to integrate their fire inspection knowledge with pre-incident planning so that first responders have enhanced foreknowledge and improved response. APX Data allows our students to have the experiential learning to prepare them for their future as fire prevention officers.
